Selling fresh produce directly from the farm or roadside is a key source of income for many Indian farmers and small vendors. However, most current carts are outdated, heavy, and offer
little protection from weather.
The main objective of "FruitCart Design Contest" is to create a smart, foldable, mobile fruit cart tailored to the needs of small-scale sellers. Whether used on the roadside or just outside the farm gate, the cart should combine functionality, visibility, comfort, and ease of use.
It’s time to reimagine the humble fruit cart into a modern, farmer-friendly selling solution.
